This pool allows you to stake one or more PUNKS Comic, Issue #1 NFTs for a period of two years (you do not need to stake for the full duration). You will receive PUNKS tokens as a reward for staking your Comic(s). Rewards are fixed per block, per NFT staked. At the current rate, every NFT staked will accrue approximately 140 PUNKS tokens per week. This rate may be adjusted to distribute all rewards in the pool’s designated time period.

PUNKS tokens represent the 16 CryptoPunks that inspired the characters in PUNKS Comic, Issue #1. These 16 CryptoPunks were bundled, secured, and fractionalized by our launch partner, Fractional, who then provided 100,000,000 ERC-20 PUNKS tokens to be distributed throughout the project. The amount of tokens reserved for distribution among Comic stakers is 50% (or 50,000,000 tokens).

Once the cooldown period is over, anyone staking their Comic may choose to claim their rewards and create a pool for PUNKS tokens to begin trading.

Unstaking of your Comic NFT and/or claiming of your PUNKS token rewards are subject to a 30-day cooldown period, which is automatically activated when the NFT is deposited. Once the 30 days elapse, you will be able to unstake your NFT and/or claim your rewards. When you unstake your Comic, any unclaimed PUNKS token rewards you have accrued will be automatically sent to your wallet.

You may stake/unstake Comics multiple times, in one transaction, or in multiple transactions. Please keep in mind that unstaking and re-staking reactivates the cooldown period.

Staking your comic does not affect your ability to claim a physical copy, or its consideration for Pixel Vault giveaways (if any). By beginning the staking process, you are locking your Comic NFT in the staking contract for 30 days, after which you may choose to unstake. While staking, your Comic NFT will not be available for trading.

Once you unstake, your exact NFT will be returned to your wallet (same Token ID), at which point you may trade in secondary markets as usual if you wish to do so.

You will not be able to transfer or sell your Comic NFT while it is staked. Your Comic NFT will also be locked in the staking contract for 30 days before you are able to unstake. Crypto and NFT prices can be volatile. Please take the time to make an informed decision.
